The red wine The Wine Collection Pinot Noir Riserva Südtirol DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Kellerei St. Michael-Eppan has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Nero from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright ruby red colour with brightening rim. Expressive with notes of dark berries, rich nose, nuances of wild berries and ripe cherries, some mint, also malt, complex, comes back on ripe cherries. Great structure on the palate, with polished, tight-knit tannins and hearty acidity, as well as fine noble wood, punchy, long. Can quietly spend some more time in the bottle.
