The white wine Appius Weiss Südtirol DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Kellerei St. Michael-Eppan has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Weißburgunder from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Clear, rich straw yellow. Intense and appealing nose, aromas of apricot, mango and banana, with light thyme savouriness. Lots of ripe fruit on the palate, sweet texture, spreads continuously, slightly resinous components on the finish, somewhat phenolic.
