The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery La Gerla has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, flint garnet red. Very fragrant, catchy nose of fresh cherries and goji berries, crisp. Confirms the impression of freshness on the palate, lots of juicy fruit, but then becomes quite tight and hard at the back of the course.
