Lots of savouriness on the nose, alongside plum, sloe, smoke, black cherry and bay leaf. On the palate rich, ripe tannins provide a supple and dense profile that's countered by well-tempered acidity. Again red fruits to the fore, with cherry in particular. It's powerful and balanced, with good length, and excellent at the table.
