Tasting Notes
Rich aroma with pear, pineapple, orange and bitter chocolate, lemon zest, savoury, slightly smoky. Full-bodied on the palate, develops drive and density on a soft background, caramel, the quite fresh acidity gives drive and creates length. A thoroughly interesting interplay of contrasts.
More about the tastingThe nose is already quite open: tangerine, freshly squeezed orange juice, distinct peppery notes, stewed apple, a little coconut and caramel. A very balanced structure paints the picture of a fruity, supple, but also structured Chardonnay characterised by barrel ageing in the best sense of the term.
