The red wine »Alte Reben« Mauchen Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Lämmlin-Schindler has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
At the beginning, the wine is dominated by a lot of coffee aromas, so please aerate well. Then aromas of black cherry, balsamic and Assam tea come to the fore. Very rich in extract and full-bodied, demanding but not overwhelming, the wine develops in the glass by the minute and brings new taste experiences. Be sure to keep a sip for the next day!
