Sparkling ruby garnet. Intense and finely drawn nose, scents of saffron, raspberry, lots of ripe cherries, very clear, underlaid with notes of cardamom. Lots of ripe fruit on the attack, dense, pithy tannins, unfortunately shows somewhat overripe notes on the finish, slightly alcoholic and rough.
