The red wine V.V. Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Le Ragnaie has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
It has a bright and intense ruby colour. It opens on the nose with notes of ripe plum, as well as wild raspberry, and some savoury chestnut honey. There is plenty of fresh fruit on the palate, with perceptible acidity, good tension, and full-bodied drive on the finish.
