The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Fornace DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Le Ragnaie has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Powerful, flint garnet red. Charming and memorable nose, aromas of pickled cherry and plum, warm and round, in the background there are notes of rosewood and leather. Juicy in attack and course, shows beautifully carved out fruit, of cherry and raspberries, finely meshed, clear tannins, on the finish there is beautiful fruit texture.
