Tasting Notes
It has a bright garnet colour with a fine shimmer. An exciting nose opens with notes of liquorice, then dried plum, cherry compote, some tobacco, and although it is quite ripe it is actually just right. On the palate dense tannins determine the course, and there is a strong plum flavour, and a distinctly grippy finish.
