The red wine Capo di Stato Montello Venegazzù Superiore DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Loredan Gasparini has been rated in 2021 by Kiem Othmar, Staffler Simon with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec
Powerful, bright ruby colour with a fine garnet sheen. Opens with notes of leather and liquorice, as well as some pepper, then lots of plum and cassis. Spice also characterises the wine on the palate, opens with fine nuances berries, then lots of grippy tannins, still a little rough on the finish, lots of ageing potential.
