Tasting Notes
Dark, bright ruby red with purple reflections. Rather restrained on the nose, then blackberry and blackcurrant, with some lemon balm and undergrowth on the finish, paired with leathery notes. Very fresh on the palate, with vibrant acidity, clear cherry fruit, grippy tannins that still appear youthful and will mature with further ageing.
More about the tastingIntense, luminous ruby red. Inviting, fine and fragrant on the nose with great expression, elderberries, ripe cassis, a background hint of mint, notes of earth and leather. On the palate, juicy and fresh, tightly woven and integrated tannin, elegant and clear right through to the long finish. Still very youthful, one to put away to fully appreciate in a few years.
