The red wine Capo di Stato Montello Venegazzù Superiore DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Loredan Gasparini has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec from the region Veneto in Italy.
Dark, bright, rich ruby red. Great interplay of savoury aromas on the nose, pepper, cassis, leather, tobacco, then again red bell pepper, liquorice, with a finish of wild berries. Extremely juicy and balanced on the palate, fruit and acidity are in great balance, with drive, currently still showing young tannins at the back, already pointing to a long life.
