Dark, bright ruby red in colour with subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, aromas of pepper and spice, strongly minty, with notes of leather, undergrowth, cranberry and graphite. The palate is juicy and spicy, then tapers off on the mid-palate before a robust, earthy finish. Has benefited from bottle ageing.
