The red wine Capo di Stato Montello Venegazzù Superiore DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Loredan Gasparini has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot from the region Veneto in Italy.
Powerful, deep dark ruby in colour with a fine purple sheen. An intense, and appealing nose, opening with notes of cedar wood and graphite, then plenty of blackberry and elderberry, immersed with spicy elements and some soot. The palate is full-bodied and savoury from start to finish, revealing multi-layered, grippy tannins, still very young, with earthy notes in the background and dark chocolate on the finish.
