The red wine Mono C Castelâo Douro tinto, vintage 2017 from the winery Luis Seabra Vinhos has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points.
The nose is floral, chocolaty and red berry-scented with more and more herbal aromas emerging on contact with the air. On the palate it's juicy and enigmatic, with a lively acidity and fine-grained, measured tannins that leave plenty of room for the fruit. The wine's mineral edge adds elegance. Great length.
