Black cherry and balsamic, almost petrol-like slate notes on the nose. Huge volume unfolds in the mouth over a supple base, lined with the finest tannins, lots of fruit and juice. An increasing acidity on the palate gives the wine an irresistible elegance despite its enormous density. The finish consists of a tactile minerality of almost biting intensity.
