The red wine Xisto Cru Douro tinto, vintage 2019 from the winery Luis Seabra Vinhos has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 94+ Falstaff points.
A warm, slightly liqueur like black cherry fruit flows from the glass, along with spicy undertones of orange blossom and black pepper. There is also a hint of wilted rose petal. On the palate, the wine is strongly astringent, powerful, dry and slightly drying, the acidity is firm, the mineral component insistent. However, there is no lack of smoothness and juiciness - in the long run, the structure becomes complete and the aromas spicy.
