Spicy aromas of long pepper, allspice and dried lemon peel, along with jasmine and cocktail cranberry - a very complex nose. Medium-grained tannins dominate the palate, with firm acidity and an intense mineral base supporting the medium body. Despite the persistent tannin structure it all remains juicy. Needs some bottle ageing and could then be an ideal sparring partner for suckling pig.
