Some new wood, caramel, tomato paste, sweet cherry, redcurrant and elderberry. The wine has an oily base and a sharply contrasting, lively acidity, the tannin is firm and correctly ripe, giving the impression of further ageing potential in the bottle. A typical and harmonious Amarone.
