A powerful and savoury nose, notes of ripe fruit, blackberry, plum, dark cherry, smoke, dried herbs and tobacco, dark chocolate, also some plum liqueur. On the palate, an intensity and fullness, good substance and ripe tannins, a hint of residual sweetness, balanced and harmonious, a vivid acidity adds some freshness. Lots of savoury notes, dark chocolate and malt. Pairs well with hearty meat dishes.
