The red wine Mormoreto IGT, vintage 2007 from the winery Marchesi Frescobaldi has been rated in 2011 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby with violet shimmer. Dense nose, initially shows pronounced earthy notes, then black truffles, some graphite, smoky, dark berry fruit behind it. Builds nicely on the palate, tightly woven tannins, juicy and clear, long finish, profound.
