The red wine Mormoreto IGT, vintage 2010 from the winery Marchesi Frescobaldi has been rated in 2014 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich impenetrable ruby colour. Presents itself with a rich fleshy nose, some dried tomato, then lots of elderberry, sandalwood and liquorice in the background. Juicy and dense on the palate, shows a lot of ripe appealing berry fruit, then opens up with dense tannins, sweet texture, builds up beautifully, long finish.
