This has a dark ruby colour, with purple reflections. On the nose there are aromas of cassis, cherry, elderberry, and some spicy notes of cinnamon and bay leaf. It is medium-bodied on the palate, soft and mellow, with a ripe acidity, and polished but currently quite vivid tannins. It has an appropriate length.
More about the tastingNotes of blackcurrant confit, sour cherry and dark wild berries on the nose. Also hints of liquorice and cinnamon. Beautiful fullness on the palate, balsamic-spicy fruit and slightly noticeable, polished tannins. Long finish.
