The red wine Tinata IGT, vintage 2008 from the winery Monteverro has been rated in 2011 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, impenetrable ruby purple colour. Very clear and intense nose, with aromas of elderberry, wild raspberry and violet, very inviting. Emphasises spicy notes on the palate, opens with grippy tannins, coated with sweet texture, builds beautifully, long finish.
More about the tastingDeep ruby garnet, violet reflections. Intense cherry aromas, floral nuances, some lavender, a hint of macchia, sour cherry, candied violets. Juicy on the palate, appears very fresh and light-footed, very well-integrated tannins, some nougat, elegant, sticks very well, great food companion, frees up the palate, sure maturity potential, extract-sweet finish.
