Delicate brass colour with a copper shimmer and a touch of light red. Delicate nutty aromas underly candied orange zest, rancio notes, toasted almond, fine dried herbs and a hint of salt. Very complex on the palate, fine tannins, fresh texture, very mineral with a lightness, a fine oxidative note and great balance. A long, lingering finish with nuts and bitter chocolate. Bottled 2006.
