It is a wine made from the grape varieties Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cao, Tinta Francisca , Tinta Amarela, Sousao, Tinta Roriz from the region Douro in Portugal.
Deep dark ruby garnet with an opaque core and watery rim. Delicate floral nuances and rather subtle fruit on the restrained nose, with some and a hint of sour cherries. Full-bodied on the palate, with a core of juicy plum and heart cherry fruit and orange zest. Dried fruit notes also emerge as it shows a rarely seen freshness and precision and extremely fine tannins. There's convincing length to the mineral finish.
