The red wine Orma IGT, vintage 2008 from the winery Orma has been rated in 2012 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, impenetrable ruby purple colour. Dense and impressive nose, opens with notes of liquorice and sandalwood, then lots of blackberry and cassis, some tobacco in the background. Juicy and supple on the palate, unfolds with lots of warm and ripe fruit, vivid, very supple tannins, very good volume, long finish.
