Rich ruby with a slight purple shimmer. Impressive nose with a rich aroma of dark berries, lots of cassis and blackberry, plus savoury macchia herbs. Juicy and polished on the palate, opens up with fine fruit, full-bodied tannins that open up in many layers, lots of tobacco on the finish, emphasised earthy components.
