The red wine Aola di Orma Bolgheri Superiore DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Orma has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby colour with a pronounced purple sheen. Intense and inviting nose that opens with notes of liquorice and dark chocolate, then rich cassis tones and some mulberry underpinned by spicy, peppery elements. Lush on the palate, with lots of dark-berry fruit, again cassis, liquorice and spicy notes. With grippy tannins, it has firm drive on the finish.
