Located on the adjacent parcel to Cabernet Franc, still a tad higher up the slope with more rock mass in the soil. Lovely fresh fruit, blackcurrant, some toasty and almost jammy undertones. Compact on the palate, chewy, grainy tannins, powerful alcohol, enormous density, and high aromatic potential. Exhibits a succulent extract - but still offers relatively mild acidity.
