Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle watery rim. Clear nuances of dried herbs on the nose, a hint of mint, some macchia, dark berry fruit with fine terroir notes, very multi-faceted and seductive. Highly elegant on the palate, juicy and equipped with silky tannins, which nevertheless show a good presence, fine plum-cherry fruit, very harmonious, good persistency, has no rough edges, an incredibly accessible, finesse-rich style, subtle nuances of flint on the aftertaste, already very nice to drink, has very good ageing potential, the first really great Masseto. Drink/storage 15+ years.
