Bright, rich ruby with a slight purple shimmer. Very impressive and accessible nose, with notes of dark currants, dark cherries and fresh plums, as well as savoury macchia herbs. Lots of fine-meshed tannin on the palate, which gives the wine length and polish, dark berries and tobacco, lingers for a long time.
