Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby-garnet with a deep core, purple reflections and a watery edge. On the nose, black berry jam and a floral touch underpinned by hints of nougat and a dark minerality. The palate is elegant, with lots of red berries and fresh cherries, vivid, well-integrated tannins. and a striking acidity. A salty finish with a herbal, spiced touch on the back palate. Drinking this young is infanticide.
More about the tastingRich, impenetrable ruby purple. Initially displays pronounced mineral notes, then lots of ripe dark currants, some blueberries, followed by rich liquorice and dark chocolate. Fills the palate powerfully, very dense, compact tannins, lots of tobacco, rich cassis, profound, with a very long finish of fine cigars.
