Dark ruby garnet with purple reflections and a watery edge. Attractive red berry nuances to the nose, with lightly floral notes of of mint and licorice and tangerine zest also emerging. Velvety and rich in finesse on the palate, with a core of red forest berry fruit and vivid, gripping tannins. The finish is persistent, with a touch of Valrhona chocolate emerging, but still a bit harsh at the moment - patience is needed here. Certain ageing potential.
