The red wine Masseto IGT, vintage 2014 from the winery Ornellaia has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, rich ruby with a slight purple tinge. Fine, rich and fragrant aromas of blackberry and cassis with hints of liquorice, cardamom and chocolate. Creamy and round on the palate, supple with lots of ripe fruit. Tightly meshed with intense tannin, smooth texture and a very long finish.
