The red wine Olivino Cabernet Sauvignon (Fassmuster, wird nicht alleine abgefüllt), vintage 2015 from the winery Ornellaia has been rated in 2017 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Also still a young vineyard. Very closed at first. Smoky, dark berries, some menthol, initially more spice than fruit. Blackcurrant after some time. Comparatively mild at the start, then an equally dense and fine-grained tannin attacks, resulting in a paradoxically crumbly astringency, high intensity in the mid-palate, but the alcohol is only just integrated.
