The red wine Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Paolo Cottini has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella
Dark, rich ruby. On the nose there are notes of graphite, ripe wild berries, mint and in the echo hints of rich plum and liquorice. Gripping on the palate, with tight, savoury tannins, plus fine mint, but then becomes a bit drying in the finish.
