The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOC, vintage 2014 from the winery Paolo Cottini has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Intense, impenetrable ruby red with a slightly brightening to the edge. Intensely fragrant nose of ripe blackberries, reverberating lightly with undergrowth. On the palate very tightly woven with taut tannin and stimulating acidity, accentuated fruity mid-palate, certain polish, finishes with firm drive on the palate.
