The red wine Barolo DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Paolo Scavino has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from Piedmont in Italy.
Dark shining ruby red. Highly aromatic with dried roses, scent of cherries scent and a delicate savouriness, still slightly closed nose. More expressive on the palate with great fruit expression and soft texture, gentle drive, very juicy tannins spreads finely over the tongue, lovely elegant finish.
