The red wine Contrada C Terre Siciliane IGT, vintage 2022 from the winery Passopisciaro has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Medium bright ruby red with a brightening rim. Very subtle and elegant nose of raspberries and strawberries, a hint of rosehips, savoury notes of thyme and green tea, in the underlay some leather aromas. Very clear and delicate on the palate, with a finely structured fruit core and excellent tannins, with an animating flow and a long finish.
