The red wine Contrada G Terre Siciliane IGT, vintage 2022 from the winery Passopisciaro has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Elegant, shimmering, medium ruby red with garnet reflections. On the nose a multi-faceted bouquet of raspberries, orange peel and pomegranate, delicately combined with red rose petals and a hint of thyme. Very subtle and inviting on the palate, with a harmonious balance between pleasant freshness and fine-grained tannins, juicy and mineral on the long finish.
