The red wine Contrada G Terre Siciliane IGT, vintage 2021 from the winery Passopisciaro has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Clear, noble ruby red colour with brightening on the rim. Fascinating, dynamic nose, lots of red currant and sour cherry, lavender and violets in the background, then blood oranges and rose hips. Extremely elegant and harmonious on the palate, animating, great interplay between fruit and savouriness, silky tannins, vibrant acidity, lots of salt on the long finish.
