Deep dark ruby garnet with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a light watery edge. Blackberries and liquorice on the nose, with a fine woody savouriness in the background. The palate is intense and packed with dark nougat notes and very powerful tannins wrapped around a core of sweet, persistent fruit. A salty touch to the long finish. It still needs a lot of time before drinking readiness - patience will be rewarded.
