Deep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections. Fully ripe soft cherry fruit, fine hints of precious wood, heart cherries, candied orange zest, some nougat. Textured, red berry touch, somewhat demanding tannins, salty nuances, somewhat vegetal on the finish, medium complexity, lacks a little length, should benefit from further bottle ageing.
