Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. Underpinnings of nougat with fine herbal notes, floral nuances, a hint of mint, fresh orange zest, subtle notes of fine oak, tip-toes along. Juicy on the palate, hints of coconut, light chocolate, vivid, long lasting tannins, peppery mineral spiciness, bright freshness on the finish, with a salty finish, and a strong ageing potential. A very classic Grange wine in the good old sense.
