Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby colour, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a light brightening on the rim. Already approachable. Sweet spiciness, red cherries, cardamom, a subtle note of nougat, a subtle note of balsamic, sweet dark berries, sweet cherries, a soft aroma of figs, a very multi-faceted bouquet. Powerful, juicy, with a fine note of blackberries, well-integrated oak, ripe tannins, dark nougat, and a strikingly bright freshness. Already well developed and seductive, may be enjoyed a bit earlier than usual, but this does not negate its ageing potential.
