The red wine Galatrona IGT, vintage 2004 from the winery Petrolo has been rated in 2006 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Sparkling, rich ruby purple; intense, dark berry nose of plums, lots of elderberries, some licorice; salty and rich in the attack and finish, lots of plum fruit, but also slightly cooked notes at the back, caramel-like, grippy tannins.
