The red wine Frappato DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Planeta has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Frappato from the region Sicily in Italy.
Delicate, brightening ruby with a fine garnet shimmer. Delicate nose with pronounced notes of strawberry, pomegranate and blood orange. Fresh and brilliant on the palate, showing fine strawberry fruit, delicately hinted tannins, an ideal red for hot days when enjoyed cool.
