The white wine Eruzione 1614 Carricante Sicilia DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Planeta has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Carricante, Riesling from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright, rich straw yellow. Opens with fragrant notes of flint, fragrant bergamot and some peach: very appealing. Taut and clear on the palate, with lots of juicy peach, really good to bite into. Fresh and with very good tension, it has a citrus finish.
